About forecourts.uk

forecourts.uk shows the price of petrol and diesel at every forecourt in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, with the time each price last changed. The point is simple: you should know a price is current before you drive to it.

Where the prices come from

Since February 2026 every UK forecourt has had to report its prices to the government's Fuel Finder scheme, under the Motor Fuel Price (Open Data) Regulations 2025. A price change has to be reported within 30 minutes. We check the scheme for new prices every 15 minutes. How we check prices explains the rules we apply.

What we add

• The time each forecourt last changed each price, not the time we last looked.
• Prices that haven't changed in 30 days are faded and left out of the cheapest lists and averages.
• Prices that are obviously typos are held back, and listed on How we check prices.
• Town pages that cover each town and its surroundings, whatever name a forecourt gives its town.
• Filters for what the forecourt has: AdBlue pumps, 24 hour fuel, car washes, LPG and more.

Who runs it

forecourts.uk is run by S5 Ltd, company number 16842049, 20 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU. We are independent. We are not part of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, which runs Fuel Finder, or of any fuel retailer. Results are sorted by price and distance only; no forecourt pays to appear or to rank higher.
